Summary of a speech therapy lesson on the topic “Vowel sounds and letters”

Automation of vowel sounds

After production comes automation of pronunciation. The beginning of classes is the same as during the production, that is, all the same exercises are used to develop auditory perception of phonemes and breathing ability.

Automation A

To automate isolated pronunciation, the classes “Warming your palms”, “Anya is a crybaby” and “Anya is falling asleep” are used. The teacher asks to show how Anya cries. The student first quietly, then loudly says: “A-a-a-a-a!” The teacher asks to lull the falling asleep Anya to sleep. The child makes a sound, as when rocking in a cradle: “Aaaaaaaa!”

The second stage is pronouncing the vowel in words. The preschooler gives names to the three girls in the pictures and says out loud after the teacher: “Anya. Masha. Allah."

Automation About

First, the vowel is pronounced in isolation, then in combination with other sounds.

To automate the pronunciation of a vowel in words, you need cards depicting a girl, a hoop, a window and a wasp. The preschooler repeats the sentences after the speech therapist: “This is Olya. Olya has a hoop. Olya looks out the window. Olya was bitten by a wasp.”

Another task is to repeat the words: vegetable, autumn, window, perch, nut, donkey.

Automation AND

The child learns to pronounce a vowel in isolation, then in combination with other sounds.

To automate the words, the preschooler repeats after the speech therapist: game, pancake, lily, saw, lemon, turkey, plum, willow. Let the student draw any of the listed objects.

Automation E

For this lesson you need images of a girl and a dog. The child says after the teacher: “This is Emma. Emma has a dog Edik. Emma calls the dog: “Edik, come eat!” Emma feeds the dog: “Edik, eat!”

Another task is to repeat the words: echo, this, emu, screen, popsicle, enamel.

Automation

First, automation of isolated pronunciation is used, then in combination with other phonemes.

To automate words, the preschooler pronounces the words after the teacher: smoke, melon, soap, mouse, red, dust, skis.

Automation

At the initial stage of automation, isolated and syllabic pronunciation of the vowel is practiced.

The child pronounces the words after the teacher: ear, iron, already, lesson, fly, street, mind.

Staging methods

2 methods of setting vowels are practiced in preschoolers. The first method belongs to defectologist Fedor Fedorovich Rau, and includes the following points:

  1. Prolonged isolated pronunciation, as well as in syllables.
  2. Practicing isolated and syllabic pronunciation.
  3. Changing the speaking volume.
  4. Syllabic pronunciation of stressed and unstressed vowels, then in words.
  5. Vowel definition in syllables.

Teacher Ksenia Aleksandrovna Volkova has a different approach:

  1. Isolated speaking.
  2. Pronunciation with tense organs of articulation of a stressed vowel located in the first syllable of words and in the first position of the syllable.
  3. Practicing the stressed and unstressed form of the phoneme.
  4. Pronunciation at the beginning and end of words, inside words between consonants.
  5. Definition of a vowel in syllables, then in words.
