About Me

Hello! Let me introduce myself - Svetlana Viktorovna Mnatsakanyan, teacher and speech therapist. By education, I am a special education teacher and a special psychologist for working with children with developmental disabilities. Specialization - Speech Therapy. In 2004, she graduated from Moscow Pedagogical State University and began her journey to a country where the most important inhabitants are children))).

I have enjoyed working with children since early childhood. She always willingly stayed to look after the younger children in the yard and loved to spend time with her mother in the kindergarten, where she worked as a teacher. A lot of time has passed since then, but the reaction of the children with whom I work remains unchanged: they like to learn and they look forward to our meetings. The secret is simple: all training is based on game moments, replacing each other and alternating different types of activities with an interval of 3-5 minutes. I use an adapted and modern approach to teaching, and am constantly looking for new methods of presenting information. For example, I try to use ICT technologies in the educational process. I also develop COR games - presentations that children can play (and while playing, develop) both in class and at home.

The efforts of the Ministry of Education and Science of the Russian Federation are focused on creating, as part of the modernization of Russian education, an educational environment that ensures the availability of quality education for all persons with disabilities and people with disabilities, taking into account the characteristics of their psychophysical development and health status.

Receiving an education for children with disabilities and disabled children is one of the main and essential conditions for their successful socialization, ensuring their full participation in the life of society, and effective self-realization in various types of professional and social activities.

One of the priority strategic directions of modernization of education that solves these problems is the introduction of information and communication technologies into the educational process. This direction is of particular importance in the case of teaching children with disabilities and people with disabilities.

Children with disabilities are “special” children whose health condition prevents them from mastering educational programs outside of special educational conditions. Also, children who have speech disorders, but do not attend kindergarten for various reasons, are also deprived of classes with a teacher - a speech therapist. Often the parents of these children themselves become teachers for their children.

Today, the modern and most effective interaction is the use of information and communication technologies (ICT) in working with parents.

After all, one of the most important social institutions of education is the family. Work with parents is aimed at cooperation with the family in the interests of the child, organizing assistance in education. Involving parents in participating in the educational process in a preschool institution helps create a favorable climate in the family, psychological and emotional comfort of the child in kindergarten and beyond.

In this case, creating a personal website becomes a necessity.

The site can contain the necessary literature, various speech therapy pages, consultation articles, advice, recommendations, and tips for parents. Here, in order to prevent speech disorders, you can post material for parents (legal representatives) of young children who are just starting to speak. And for parents (legal representatives) of children - speech pathologists who attend speech groups, as well as as part of general education for parents (legal representatives) whose children are not enrolled in preschool education, actively use ICT when performing tasks of a speech therapist teacher.

Tasks:

  • Effectively use a remote form of cooperation between parents (legal representatives), a speech therapist teacher and a child.
  • Placing on the website the necessary information materials that address issues of correctional development of children with SLD
  • Individualize and differentiate the learning process for children with SLD.
  • Increasing the pedagogical literacy of parents (legal representatives) in matters of correctional and developmental education of children with special needs, which is a necessary condition for the successful development of the child.

Parents themselves often withdraw from the work of practicing and consolidating correct speech, since they do not have the necessary knowledge and skills and sufficient free time to study with their children at home. This raises a problem: parents need to be given a certain level of knowledge and skills regarding the speech development of children.

When working with children with disabilities, constant feedback from parents is necessary. It never seemed possible to me to fully implement such contacts before. Interactive technologies make it possible to do this, for example, using a teacher’s personal website.

A website is a specific place on the Internet where you can place any information, making it accessible from anywhere in the world.

If necessary, a speech therapist teacher can consult parents (legal representatives) on a daily basis. Any of them can ask a speech therapist a question of interest and promptly receive an answer using feedback in the chat on the speech therapist’s website.

On my personal website “Govorusha”, parents (legal representatives) receive information and practical advice on how to competently conduct speech therapy exercises, games, and tasks for children who need constant speech therapy support. Visual recommendations for parents on organizing homework (articulation gymnastics, speech and finger games - exercises, techniques and tools) with children are necessary in order to convey as clearly as possible, and therefore more accurately, all the features and subtleties of developmental speech therapy work. Parents (legal representatives) become participants in the process of correctional education for children. Each parent can use the materials developed on the site, my speech therapist teacher and get an answer.

The group includes children with special needs, disabilities and disabled children. Children who are temporarily not attending preschool educational institutions or who have missed classes for various reasons have the opportunity to continue correctional and developmental education, following a systematic and planned approach.

Thus, the use of information and communication technologies, the creation of a personal website for a speech therapist teacher is an effective and interesting form of interaction for all participants in the correctional educational process, in order to solve current problems of speech correction for children in need of speech therapy help, including children with disabilities and disabled children.

The development of a child’s speech in preschool age occurs quickly and is interconnected with the level of intellectual development.
